Arthur Kudelka loves to head out on outdoor adventures -- whether on foot, in a kayak or with crampons strapped onto his feet. His most frequent companion on treks and tours is his girlfriend Karin, as she was in Patagonia. Unique landscapes, paired with a dash of culture and adventure, are to Kudelka the perfect ingredients for travels, be that out his front door in his home Alps in Bavaria, Germany, or in far-flung spots around the world. Although planning is part of his everyday as the service department manager at LOWA Boots in Bavaria – meaning he always has great shoes on his feet -- he would rather not over-plan his travels. Some planning is a must, but too much can ruin the surprises you need to be open to. As he says, adventure doesn’t have a plan!
